INAUGURATION OF THE MARIAN MONTH AUXILIUM GIRLS PROMOTION CENTRE - OROS

The month of August was joyfully welcomed at the Auxilium Girls Promotion Centre, Oros, with a beautiful Marian spirit of faith, joy and devotion. Keeping Mary, our Mother, Guide and Model, at the centre of our lives, we began the Marian Month with two meaningful moments of prayer, fellowship and celebration.

On 30th August, the Marian Month celebrations began at Don Bosco, Oros, with the Marian Nite organized by Don Bosco Oros. Our girls participated with great enthusiasm in the various activities prepared for the evening. They joyfully took part in a Marian Quiz and different Marian games, which helped them to know Mary better and deepen their love and devotion to her in a joyful and engaging way. The evening was filled with laughter, friendship, faith and a spirit of togetherness. At the end of the programme, the participants were lovingly honoured with medals, Rosaries and Marian crowns in appreciation of their active and enthusiastic participation.

On the following evening, 31st August, the celebration continued at the Auxilium Girls Promotion Centre with a solemn and prayerful inauguration of the Marian Month. The centre was beautifully decorated, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere in honour of Mary. A special prayer moment was conducted, during which we placed the entire month under Mary's loving protection and maternal guidance. Through prayers, hymns and moments of reflection, we entrusted our girls, staff, families and the entire community to Mary, asking her to accompany and guide us in our daily journey.

The inauguration reminded us that Marian devotion is not merely an external celebration, but a call to imitate Mary's virtues. Her deep faith, humility, listening heart, availability and loving service inspire us to become better persons each day. Like Mary, we are invited to listen attentively to God's Word, trust Him even in moments of uncertainty and respond generously to His call with a joyful and willing heart.

The Marian Month will continue throughout the coming weeks with prayer moments, Marian activities, reflections, competitions and community celebrations, leading us towards the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows on 15th September, when the Marian Month will conclude with a special Marian Nite

The beautiful beginning of the Marian Month has already filled our centre with joy, unity and renewed love for Mary. May Mary, our Mother and Model, continue to walk with us, bless our girls and their families, and inspire each one of us to grow in faith, hope, love and joyful service. May her gentle presence remain with us throughout this Marian journey and help us to bring Mary's spirit of kindness, compassion and love into our daily lives.
