INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION AT AUXILIUM CONVENT - LONAVALA

The Independence Day celebration was held on August 15, 2025, in the basement hall of our school, Auxilium Convent, Lonavala. The event commenced at 7.45 a.m with a flag hoisting ceremony, led by the Chief Guest, Mr. Manoj Vasant Rao Patil, Tax and Administrative Officer at the Lonavala Municipal Corporation.

Following the flag hoisting, the National Anthem was sung, and the Flag Song and Pledge were recited, setting a deeply patriotic tone for the celebration. Guests from Italy joined in the festivities, adding an international dimension to the event and enriching the cultural exchange. A vibrant cultural program was showcased, highlighting the nation's rich heritage and diversity through music, dance, skits, speeches, and other performances. The Chief Guest delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the importance of unity, patriotism, and national pride.

The celebration also included a prize distribution ceremony, recognizing the achievements of students in various fields. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by the Head Girl, Arnavi Lohire, followed by the singing of "Vande Mataram", a national song that resonated with pride and emotion.The event was a grand success, fostering a strong sense of unity and patriotism among all attendees. It served as a poignant reminder of our nation's hard-won freedom and the collective responsibility to preserve it for future generations.
