INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION - VELIM

On 15th August 2025, we celebrated the 79th Independence Day of our country with our Joyful Learning students.

The celebration commenced with a heartfelt prayer for our nation and for all of us citizens of India. The students enthusiastically presented a patriotic dance, followed by powerful declamation speeches on prominent freedom fighters such as Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, Rani Laxmi Bai, Sarojini Naidu, and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.To mark the occasion, a quiz competition was conducted by Sr. Perpetual Ferrao and Sr. Priyanka Tirkey. The aim was to create awareness among students about our rich history, instill a sense of patriotism, and inspire them to become honest and responsible citizens of the country.

The celebration concluded with a short yet inspiring message from Sr. Perpetual Ferrao, who emphasized the true meaning of freedom in today’s world and encouraged everyone to contribute positively to the growth and unity of our nation.
