Auxilium Baroda observed Interfaith Week and Catechetical Week from 11 to 18 March, with enthusiastic participation from students of both the English and Gujarati mediums. The week was a meaningful initiative to foster respect, understanding, and harmony among different religions.
Students beautifully presented various religions such as Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, and Sikhism, highlighting their origins, beliefs, values, and teachings. Each class took active responsibility in showcasing a particular religion through creative and engaging presentations. The catechism students of Grades 6 to 8 presented a programme on Biblical women, highlighting their faith and significance. The presentation concluded with the song “Walking in the Light of the Lord.”
The programmes included scripture readings, informative chart presentations, speeches, and vibrant songs and dances that reflected the essence of each faith. The students put in sincere effort to understand and convey the core message of unity in diversity.
The entire week was a rich learning experience, encouraging students to appreciate and respect all religions. It was inspiring to witness their confidence, creativity, and commitment in promoting peace and harmony.
