Auxilium Convent High School, Lonavala, celebrated International Women’s Day on 9th March with joy, gratitude, and reverence. The theme, “Women – The Music of Life”, beautifully reflected how women bring harmony, rhythm, and inspiration to the world. The celebration began with a procession, where every woman of the Auxilium family was welcomed with a symbolic bookmark and candle, signifying knowledge and light. A creative prayer service followed, portraying women’s roles across all walks of life—grace, strength, gentleness, balance, and courage—woven together like a symphony.

Secondary students presented a thoughtful performance comparing women to musical instruments that bring rhythm and joy, while primary students added liveliness with a lively dance honoring women’s contributions. The highlight of the day was the inspiring message by Sr. Rosy Mascarenhas, who reminded everyone that “women are the magic in life—from creating to caring, from nurturing to leading.” The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Tr. Vidhya appreciates the efforts of all participants and affirms gratitude for teachers, sisters, mothers, and every woman who enriches the Auxilium family. The celebration truly echoed the theme, affirming that women’s lives are like music—full of rhythm, harmony, and inspiration.
