Auxilium Convent High School, Baroda, hosted the Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025 – ‘26 with great enthusiasm and solemnity. The event began with a warm welcome extended to the Management, Sisters, staff, and students. The ceremony aimed to officially invest the newly elected cabinet members with their roles of responsibility and leadership.

The solemn occasion commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the school manager and four student representatives, signifying the dispelling of ignorance and the pursuit of knowledge and truth. This was followed by a hymn and the reverent entry of the school leaders in procession.  Sr. Philomena Lobo, the Principal, addressed the students, encouraging them to embrace the values of leadership, unity, and service. The prayer service that followed included a reading from the First Letter of St. Peter, emphasizing humility and responsibility.

The investiture of the leaders followed with the school flag and sash presented to the Head Girl, the torch to the Asst. Head Girl, and the sports flag and house flags to the respective captains. Prefects and class monitresses also received their scarves and badges. The newly invested leaders took their oath, pledging to lead by example with dedication and sincerity.

The school manager Sr. Philomena D’Souza concluded the ceremony by encouraging the students to use their assigned power wisely and be role models for others and emphasized that a true leader understands their fellow mates and remains faithful to their calling.
