‘INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2026 (PRIMARY SECTION)’ - AUXILIUM CARANZALEM THEME: WINGS TO DREAM, HEARTS TO SERVE
On 29th June 2026, Auxilium Primary School celebrated the Investiture Ceremony, a significant milestone in the lives of their young leaders as they stepped forward to accept the honour and responsibility of leadership. The theme for the programme was, “Wings to Dream, Hearts to Serve.”

On 29th June 2026, Auxilium Primary School celebrated the Investiture Ceremony, a significant milestone in the lives of their young leaders as they stepped forward to accept the honour and responsibility of leadership. The theme for the programme was, “Wings to Dream, Hearts to Serve.”
They also celebrated Pope’s Day, to honour the Holy Father and celebrate the unity of the global Church in remembrance of the Pope’s vital role as a global leader of peace, compassion, and faith. Tr. Ana and Tr. Judith, the coordinators of the event, served as the comperes for the event.
The auspicious occasion commenced at 11.30 am with a prayer service. To invoke the blessings of God, the students performed a soulful prayer dance. The Headmistress, Sr. Celine Pinto, student representative, Benisha Toppo and Teacher representative, Megha Shetye, lighted the ceremonial lamp, as the students melodiously sang the song ‘This Little guiding light of mine.’ Tr. Loretta read the Word of God highlighting Jesus’s message that true greatness is not about being first or being in charge, but about serving others with love and humility. The students then placed a few of their petitions before God and concluded the prayer service with a hymn.
The Investiture Ceremony began with the newly appointed leaders proudly marching forward spreading their wings towards new opportunities and responsibilities. The Head Girl, Ms. Arohi Gawde, leaded the way carrying wings, symbolizing vision, aspiration, and the courage to dream beyond limits. The Assistant Head Girl, Myra Sequeira, followed her, carrying a heart, symbolizing kindness, empathy and service. The student leaders, Yash Kundaikar, Ananya Sawant, Azaan Shaikh, Amrita Malik, Prachi Talwar, Shubham Balkunde, Sabha Idrishi, Sharmistha Singh marched gracefully carrying their lamps, symbolizing wisdom and enlightenment. Together, they embodied the theme, “Wings to Dream, Hearts to Serve,” reminding everyone that the greatest leaders are those who inspire others while serving with kindness and dedication.
The Headmistress, Sr. Celine Pinto, assisted the student leaders to pronounce their vows. The student leaders promised to do their duties with utmost diligence.
To mark the official investing of authority, Sr. Celine handed over the symbols of office to the newly appointed leaders:

IV A Leaders: Yash Kundaikar and Ananya Sawant
IVB Leaders: Azan Shaikh and Amrita Malik
III A Leaders: Prachi Talwar and Shubham Balkunde
III B: Sabha Idrishi and Sharmistha Singh
The Supervisor, Sr. Succorine Vaz, presented badges to the newly appointed Discipline Leaders who were given the duty of promoting discipline, respect and integrity within the school community.
The Head girl, Arohi Gawade, then took her Oath as the Head Girl pledging to carry out her duties sincerely, leading by example, and always doing her best to serve the school and the students. The leaders then collectively took the Leadership Oath to pledge their commitment to their roles. They shared their vision of purposeful service through a symbolic song. The Head girl, Arohi Gawade, gave a speech expressing her sentiments and gratitude to the school for the role entrusted to her. The Assistant Head Girl, Myra Sequeira, recited the concluding prayer.
The Headmistress, then addressed the students and the newly appointed leaders with her words of wisdom and encouragement. She also congratulated the coordinators of the event, Tr. Ana and Tr. Judith, and others for their efforts in making the event successful. Tr.Gemira proposed the Vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to the Principal, Sr. Celine, Manager, Sr. Joanita, In-charge, Sr. Dolly and the School Management for their continuous support and encouragement. She also thanked the teachers for their hard work, the parents for their cooperation, and the students for their active participation.
The Investiture ceremony concluded with the school anthem at 12.30 pm.
The Investiture Ceremony was more than just an event — it was a promise. As the young leaders stepped forward with badges on their chests and responsibility in their hearts, the entire school felt a wave of pride and hope with trust that under their leadership, the Primary Section will shine brighter with discipline, teamwork, and kindness.
