INVESTITURE CEREMONY: INSPIRING YOUNG LEADERS – AUXILIUM WADALA

The Investiture Ceremony at Auxilium Convent High School was celebrated with great pride and enthusiasm, marking the beginning of a new chapter of leadership and responsibility for the student council. The programme commenced with a warm welcome by the comperes, who highlighted the significance of the ceremony and the qualities of an ideal leader.

A particularly heart-warming moment was the entry of the newly elected student leaders accompanied by their parents, symbolising the strong bond of support and encouragement that shapes every young leader's journey.

The ceremony began with a prayer service reminding everyone that true leadership is rooted in faith, humility, and selfless service. The Head Girl, Assistant Head Girl, Prefects, and Monitresses were then formally invested with their respective responsibilities. As the inspiring hymn "It Takes Courage" played softly in the background, the atmosphere reflected the dignity and solemnity of the occasion.

The student leaders took a solemn oath, pledging to carry out their duties with honesty, dedication, and integrity. Addressing the gathering, the Manager, Sr. Rita D'Souza, inspired the students to embrace leadership with four stages of growth surviving, belonging, self-esteem, and interdependence.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Head Girl, followed by the School Anthem. The celebration ended on a joyful note as refreshments were served to the parents, making the occasion a memorable tribute to leadership, commitment, and the shared vision of nurturing responsible and compassionate future leaders.
