LEADERSHIP TRAINING WORKSHOP – AUXILIUM BARODA
On 19th July 2025, a leadership seminar was held at Auxilium Convent Schol Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., guided by Father Chris Fereira SDB a youth animator and a dynamic leader from Don Bosco School Baroda. It was organized for the school leaders from English and Guajrati medium grades 6 to 12 students, offering an enriching experience focused on leadership development and self-awareness.around 80 student leaders participated in the seminar. Mrs. Manisha introduced the speaker and he was welcomed with a sapling. Fr. Chris began the sessions with songs and rhythms that created an interactive environment.

Father Chris utilized a blend of stories, group discussions, and videos to illustrate key leadership principles. One notable story involved a lion and its cub, which helped clarify the importance of leadership traits like strength, resilience, and care. A thought-provoking video comparing "struggle companies" to "no-struggle companies" emphasized how perseverance, adaptability, and innovation are integral to effective leadership.

The core theme of the seminar was the exploration of leadership styles, with a special focus on the 12 brand archetypes. These archetypes—Caregiver, Lover, Hero, Jester, Innocent, Ruler, Rebel, Creator, Magician, Sage, Orphan, and Explorer—served as tools for self-discovery, helping students understand their unique strengths, weaknesses, and motivations. Through group activities and thought-provoking discussions, participants gained a deeper understanding of their leadership potential and how to empower others.

The seminar ended with a vote of thanks from Shristi Balli, the captain of Yellow House, who expressed gratitude to Father Chris for his guidance. The event left the students feeling inspired, with a clearer vision of how to be responsible, compassionate, and visionary leaders. With the valuable insights gained, the student leaders are now better equipped to make a lasting impact in their communities, embodying the principles of teamwork, service, and effective leadership in their future endeavors.
