The programme became even more engaging with a series of interactive activities that encouraged teamwork, decision-making, and sharing of creative ideas. Students actively participated with great enthusiasm and learned valuable lessons through hands-on experiences.

The orientation concluded on an inspiring note, leaving every student leader motivated to lead with integrity, humility, and a spirit of service. It was an enriching and memorable experience for all the young leaders.

We are grateful to our school management, Principal Sr. Maria Shirsat, Sr. Reshma Rosario, who organized such meaningful and effective sessions for the leaders, and to our teachers in charge of the leaders from both Primary and High School sections: Tr. Shilpa K, Tr. Snehal K, and Tr. Juliet C.

We, the leaders of our school for the year 2026–27, promise to follow these three resolutions clearly and faithfully:

1. To be punctual in our duties, remain disciplined ourselves, and help others too.

2. To speak only in English and encourage others to do the same.

3. To help other students take part in co-curricular activities and do their best in studies, especially supporting weaker students who find it difficult to cope with academics.

Being a leader is something that we feel proud of and honored by, especially in a prestigious school like ours, Auxilium Convent School, Ahilyanagar. It was enriching to be part of this Leaders’ Orientation session which our school conducts for us, the young leaders.

A Leaders' Orientation Programme was successfully conducted on 17 July 2026 at Auxilium Convent High School, Ahilyanagar, for the newly elected student leaders. The session was led by Fr. Richard Bhurkhao, Principal of Don Bosco School, Savedi, whose inspiring guidance motivated the students to become responsible and compassionate leaders.

Fr. Richard explained the true meaning of leadership, emphasizing qualities such as confidence, discipline, responsibility, teamwork, effective communication, and empathy. He also shared practical ways to develop these qualities through daily habits, positive thinking, and leading by example. To make the session more meaningful, he presented examples of both good and not-so-good leaders, helping students understand the qualities that inspire others and the behaviors that should be avoided.
