"MORNESE... WELL SPRING OF GRACE" – AUXILIUM PALI HILL

On 15th July 2026, Auxilium Convent High School, Bandra, joyfully celebrated the Feast of its Co-foundress, St. Mary Mazzarello, with the inspiring theme, "MORNESE... WELLSPRING OF GRACE."

The celebration began with a solemn prayer service. The Manager, Sr. Leema Rose, the Principal, Sr. Sangeeta Salve, and the Sisters of the Community were ceremoniously escorted by the House Captains and warmly welcomed with bouquets as a gesture of love and respect.

The Primary Section students then presented a graceful dance, beautifully portraying the life, virtues, and mission of St. Mary Mazzarello. Their heartfelt performance inspired the audience to reflect on her spirit of faith, humility, and joyful service.

Addressing the gathering, Sr. Leema Rose encouraged the students to emulate the values of obedience, helpfulness, and respect for parents, which were so deeply exemplified in the life of St. Mary Mazzarello. To commemorate the occasion, a house-wise quiz competition on the life of Mother Mazzarello was conducted by Tr. Yolanda, with enthusiastic participation from all the houses.

The evening celebrations were further enriched by the presence of Religious Sisters and Fathers from various congregations in the Bandra community, who had been specially invited for the occasion. The teachers and the Salesian Cooperators also joined in the festivities, making it a true celebration of the Salesian Family spirit.

The Holy Eucharist was solemnly celebrated by Fr. Ambrose, SDB, Salesian missionary. In his inspiring homily, he reflected on the life, spirituality, and mission of Mother Mazzarello, inviting everyone to draw strength and inspiration from the "Wellspring of Grace" that flowed from Mornese.

The celebration continued with games and fellowship, fostering moments of joy, laughter, unity, and gratitude among all present. The feast concluded on a joyful and uplifting note, leaving everyone with cherished memories of a meaningful, grace-filled celebration dedicated to St. Mary Mazzarello.
