NURTURING NEW BEGINNINGS
“Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.” – Seneca
The academic year 2025–26 at Auxilium Baroda began on a note of enthusiasm and renewed purpose as the staff came together for seminars and planning sessions. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, especially for the new members joining the Auxilium family—signaling the start of a promising journey ahead.
Principal Sr. Philomena Lobo formally introduced the newly appointed Superior, sisters and teachers to the staff. The teaching and non-teaching staff warmly welcomed Sr. Philomena D’Souza, the new school Manager, along with Sr. Catherine Fernandes, Sr. Priya Tauro and new teachers by offering them saplings—a symbol of growth, life, and fresh beginnings.

In her address, the School Manager highlighted the values that lie at the heart of education—discipline, kindness, and gratitude—stressing their significance in forming the character of students and creating a nurturing school environment. The day progressed with an insightful workshop on Art Integrated Learning, conducted by the dynamic and creative Dr. Shweta Harkani. Her session illuminated the role of art as a powerful teaching tool that enhances understanding across subjects. Teachers engaged in exploring ways to seamlessly blend artistic expression with academic content, transforming traditional learning into a more enjoyable and impactful experience.
The workshop was a meaningful step toward realizing Auxilium’s commitment to holistic and inclusive education, encouraging educators to inspire not just intellect, but imagination and empathy as well.
