On 31st October 2026, Jag Prakash Kanya Chhatralay, Pansora, witnessed a joyful and meaningful gathering of its past pupils. The programme, organised by Sr. Vaneeta Khristi and Sr. Monica Macwan, was held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with 17 past pupils participated enthusiastically.

The day began with a prayer moment, placing the gathering in God's loving presence and seeking His blessings for the new journey of togetherness. This was followed by words of welcome, creating a warm atmosphere of friendship, belongingness, and renewed connection with the institution. A few past pupils also shared inspiring and motivating words with the junior hostel girls, encouraging them to value their opportunities, work hard, dream big, and make meaningful contributions to society. The gathering continued with fun-filled games that brought back memories, strengthened friendships, and filled the atmosphere with laughter and enthusiasm. A significant part of the day was an input session conducted by Sr. Monica Macwan on the Past Pupils’ Association. She explained its purpose, vision, structure, and functioning, highlighting the importance of staying connected with the institution and with one another even after completing their studies. She encouraged the past pupils to become active members of the association and to carry forward the values and spirit they had received during their formation at the institution. Special emphasis was given to reaching out to the needy, extending a helping hand to the less privileged, supporting young people, and making a positive difference in society through collective efforts.

A memorable milestone of the gathering was the formation of the first Past Pupils’ Association at Pansora, with 15 members joyfully coming forward and enrolling themselves as its founding members. They were warmly welcomed into this new journey of unity and shared responsibility. The leaders of the association were selected, followed by an initial discussion on its future functioning, activities, responsibilities, and ways of reaching out to other past pupils and those in need. This marked an important step towards building a strong and active network of past pupils committed to keeping the Salesian spirit alive through service and solidarity.

After the enriching session and discussions, everyone shared a joyful lunch, followed by a lively Garba celebration. The past pupils and junior hostel girls danced together, making the occasion even more memorable. The dance, music, and cheerful participation reflected the beautiful bond between generations of students.

The gathering concluded with hearts filled with gratitude, joy, and renewed enthusiasm. It was not simply a reunion but the beginning of a renewed commitment to friendship, belongingness, and service.
