As the saying goes: “When a leader visits, she does not merely observe—she rekindles purpose, strengthens unity, and leaves footprints of inspiration in every heart.” On 1st December 2025, the Auxilium Baroda community joyfully welcomed Provincial Sr. Meenakshi D’Silva for her official visit. During her time with the community, she met the sisters and, in her conference, encouraged everyone to deepen their community life by being authentic witnesses and visible signs of God’s loving presence.

She also interacted with the English and Gujarati medium students, who greeted her warmly. Addressing them with an inspiring message, she highlighted the importance of participating in extracurricular activities, explaining how these opportunities enable young people to discover hidden talents and grow in confidence. To reinforce her point, she narrated a touching story about a child who recognized her true abilities only after daring to step beyond academics. Her words motivated the students to explore new avenues, believe in themselves, and embrace each opportunity with enthusiasm.

She later met the support staff, expressing her sincere gratitude for their commitment and loyalty to the institution. She encouraged them to remain faithful to their vocation, to be gentle with parents, and to practice patience in every situation.

On 2 December 2025, she addressed the teachers and she began by acknowledging the rapidly changing landscape of education, especially the increasing influence of artificial intelligence and digital learning. Appreciating the teachers for adapting to these advancements, she commended their ongoing efforts to make classroom learning creative, engaging, and meaningful.

While recognizing the value of technology, Sr. Meena reminded everyone that education extends far beyond devices or well-crafted lessons. The true hallmark of a great teacher, she emphasized, lies in understanding students personally—seeing beyond academics to nurture the human spirit. Finally, she said to them “You teach their minds, but you also touch their hearts—and that is the greatest difference you can make.”

Before concluding her visit, Sr. Meenakshi expressed her appreciation to the sisters for their selfless service and encouraged everyone to be bearers of God’s love to the young. Her visit to Auxilium Baroda was indeed one that strengthened bonds and inspired all to continue their mission with greater zeal and love.
