RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATED WITH ENTHUSIASM AT TOFKHANA POLICE STATION – AUXILIUM AHILYANAGAR

This initiative gave the students an opportunity to understand the vital role of the police more closely, fostering respect, awareness, and sensitivity. It also conveyed the message of building bonds of love and trust across different sections of society.

Raksha Bandhan is not merely a festival of siblings; it is a reminder of mutual protection, affection, and responsibility. With this spirit, the students expressed their gratitude to the police personnel, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and emotion within the station.

The programme was widely appreciated as it nurtured social awareness, humanity, and respect among students, alongside their academic learning. It strengthened the bond of friendship and affection between the students and the police personnel, making the occasion joyful and memorable.

The celebration concluded at 11:00 a.m., leaving behind feelings of love, respect, and gratitude. It was a touching reminder of the selfless service of police personnel who safeguard society day and night.

22 Auxilium Convent School Students Tie Rakhis to Police Personnel; Express Gratitude for Their Service. Raksha Bandhan, the festival symbolizing love, trust, and the protective bond between brothers and sisters, was celebrated in a unique and heartfelt manner at Tofkhana Police Station. Twenty-two girl students from the Auxilium Youth Movement of Auxilium Convent School visited the station and tied rakhis to the police personnel, expressing deep respect and gratitude for their dedicated service.

The celebration was held on Monday, 31 August 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The students were accompanied by Primary Headmistress and AYM in charge, Sr. Reshma Rosario, Tr. Riya M, Tr. Namratha, novice Sr. Betcy and Sir. Mayur.

The programme began with a prayer, followed by a devotional song (A Shower of Blessings), which created a spiritual atmosphere. The students then tied rakhis on the wrists of the police personnel, filling the station with joy and warmth. The officers were visibly touched by the gesture, which conveyed heartfelt appreciation for their tireless duty.

Police personnel, while ensuring law and order, often sacrifice personal celebrations to safeguard society. By celebrating Raksha Bandhan with them, the students offered a unique tribute to their commitment and service.
