Auxilium Convent High School, Baroda, hosted enriching seminars for parents of students in Grades 1 to 12 on the crucial topic of parenting, from the 1 st to 4 th of July, 2024. The sessions, led by renowned relationship coach and parenting expert Ms. Bina Yadav, focused on practical strategies for effective communication, boundary setting, and positive reinforcement. Ms. Yadav emphasised the importance of active listening, setting clear rules, encouraging positivebehaviour, maintaining structured schedules, and being consistent. She highlighted how these practices foster a child's emotional and psychological development, build self-esteem, and enhance social skills. By encouraging parents to practice empathy and clear expression of thoughts and feelings, Ms Yadav aimed to equip them with tools to support their children through various stages of growth and development. Additionally, she underscored parents'significant role in fostering positive teacher-student relationships. Parents praised Ms Yadav's engaging presentation and found the content informative and relatable. They expressed gratitude for the practical advice and valuable insights provided. The seminars successfully empowered parents to nurture confident and compassionate individuals who could form healthy relationships and effectively navigate life's challenges.
