On 3rd July 2026, in a beautiful gesture of faith and community service, 80 confirmation students from Sacred Heart Parish embarked on a deeply moving exposure visit to Seon Ashram Trust. The student group was accompanied by their Parish Priest, Assistant Parish Priest, Sr. Hilda, and Sr. Anita. The visit took place from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, providing a meaningful opportunity for the youth to put their Christian values into practice.

Seon Ashram Trust is a sanctuary of hope and care located in Belthangady. It serves as a compassionate home for the aged, destitute, and physically or mentally disabled men and women. Currently, the institution shelters and rehabilitates around 340 individuals, offering them a life of security and dignity. During our three-hour visit, the confirmation students and religious leaders spent quality time interacting with the residents. The visitors brought immense joy to the ashram through:

Heartfelt conversations that made the residents feel heard and loved

Distributing thoughtful tokens and interacting with the elderly and disabled

The parish priests and sisters guided the youth through the experience, encouraging them to look beyond themselves and understand the vital importance of serving the marginalized sections of society.

The visit left a profound impact on the confirmation students. It served as a powerful reminder of the value of human dignity, empathy, and unconditional love. The students returned to the parish with a renewed perspective on charity, carrying the smiles of the 340 residents in their hearts.
