SPREADING AWARENESS: ANTI-HUMAN TRAFFICKING TRAINING - PANSORA
In June 2025, Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralay, Pansora, under the leadership of Sr. Shaila D’Monte, organized a series of impactful Anti-Human Trafficking Awareness and Training sessions for children and women from nearby villages. These sessions aimed to educate, empower, and build vigilance among vulnerable groups.
On 1st June, a special session was conducted for 45 Summer Camp children from Zalabordi and Nagari villages at the Chatralay. The resource person, Ms. Sangeeta Parmar, used informative videos and interactive discussions to help children understand the dangers of human trafficking. The session also created a safe space for the children to share personal challenges and clarify doubts.

On 2nd June, a training session was held for 49 village women at Rohit Fadiya, Pansora. Sr. Shaila D’Monte, along with Mr. Julius Khristi and Ms. Sangeeta Parmar, sensitized the women through real-life examples, videos, and open discussions, encouraging them to stay alert and take preventive action within their communities.
These efforts were built on the foundation laid earlier during the training held on 17th June 2024 in Magalpura village, where 40 children were educated about human trafficking through interactive methods and videos, conducted by the same dedicated team.

Through these continuous outreach programs, Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralay continues its mission of creating awareness, building self-confidence, and empowering rural communities to stand united against human trafficking. The active participation and positive response from both children and women reflect the growing awareness and collective responsibility within these villages.
