TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION - AUXILIUM LONAVALA

The theme for the Teacher’s Day celebration was “The Hands That Write on Hearts.” With this thought in mind, the program was held with great enthusiasm on 4th September 2025, organized by the Student Council and the sisters. The event took place in the school basement, which was beautifully decorated to create a festive and graceful atmosphere.

The program began with a grand procession, where teachers—dressed in their finest attire—walked in with dignity and pride. The sight left the audience mesmerized as students welcomed them warmly with applause and admiration. This was followed by a variety of performances, including dances presented by the Primary, Secondary, and College sections, soulful songs, meaningful poems, and inspiring speeches by both students and teachers. Adding to the charm, skits were performed—including a special surprise skit by the Student Council—which filled the hall with laughter and joy. Each performance beautifully highlighted the selfless dedication of teachers and their role in shaping the lives of their students.

Towards the end of the program, Sr. Rosy Mascarenhas, our manager, addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of teachers in society. Sr. Shiny, our principal, then took the stage to express her heartfelt gratitude to the teachers and appreciated the tireless efforts of the students and Sisters in organizing the event. The Sisters followed with a melodious song that expressed their deep appreciation for the teachers. As a token of love, the school presented gifts to the teachers, and the PTM members brought a celebratory cake to mark the occasion.

After the program, students surprised their class teachers with small tokens of gratitude, making the day even more special. Soon after, exciting games were organized for the teachers, filling the hall with laughter and a playful spirit. The day concluded with a delicious lunch, where teachers relaxed and enjoyed each other’s company, cherishing the love and respect showered upon them.

The celebration was a perfect tribute to the guiding lights of our lives. It not only strengthened the bond between teachers and students but also left behind sweet memories of joy, laughter, and gratitude.
