From July 1st to 4th, 2024, Auxilium Convent High School, Vadodara hosted seminars for parents of students in grades 1 to 12 on parenting, led by relationship coach and parenting expert Ms. Bina Yadav. The sessions focused on effective communication, boundary setting, and positive reinforcement. Ms. Yadav emphasized active listening, setting clear rules, encouraging positive behaviour, maintaining structured schedules, and consistency, which fosters a child’s emotional and psychological development, build self-esteem, and enhance social skills. She encouraged parents to practice empathy and clear expression, highlighting their role in supporting their children growth and fostering positive teacher- student relationships. Parents praised Ms. Yadav engaging presentation, finding the advice practical and relatable. They expressed gratitude for the insights provided and thanked the Principal Sr. Philomena Lobo for organizing such a valuable seminar.
