The third day of the Triennial Verification began with a creative morning prayer led by the Sisters of Auxilium Wadala, followed by a solemn Eucharistic celebration animated by the Sisters of Auxilium Lonavala. The Eucharistic celebration, presided over by Fr. Chrys Saldhana SDB, highlighted the feast of Christ the King and the theme of the “7 Goals of Integral Ecology.

The assembly commenced with a heartfelt sharing by Sr. Philomena D’Souza, who recounted the arrival of our first Sisters on 24th November 1922, as we celebrate the 102nd anniversary today. We extend our gratitude to Sr. Philomena D’Souza for her dedicated work on the history of our Indian provinces.

Following this, Sr. Reshma Nune led a prayer, seeking God’s guidance in understanding the goals of integral ecology. Sr. Cecilia Crasta, the day’s moderator, explained the third day’s theme, “7 Goals of Integral Ecology,” and outlined the day’s schedule. Sr. Cecilia Crasta and Sr. Lavita Sequeira facilitated the understanding of community responses related to the theme. Participants were divided into groups to discuss and note down key points and areas for improvement. Later, the groups presented their findings to the assembly.

The assembly then finalized the work to be sent to the PCI. Sr. Meenakshi D’Silva, the Provincial, expressed her appreciation and gratitude in her concluding remarks. Sr. Lavita Sequeira, Sr. Kalyani Subramanyam, and Sr. Jaya Pedthala extended their thanks to the Provincial, her council, and the communities of SJTC and Auxilium Lonavala for their support and care throughout the Triennial Verification.

In concluding this important event, we seek God’s guidance along the journey forward as a Province along with our Educating community, so that our mission may be more efficient and fruitful.
