Van Mahotsav Week was celebrated at Pushpanjali Technical Institute, Dakor, from 1st to 7th July 2026. The celebration aimed to help trainees understand the importance of trees, nature, and protecting our environment.
Throughout the week, different activities were organized to help the trainees learn by participating. They took part in a Nature Observation Reel Making activity, where they explored the beauty of nature and captured it through creative reels.
Another interesting activity was Know Your Tree, where the trainees worked in groups to learn about different trees, their names, uses, and benefits. Each group later shared what they had learned through a group presentation.
The trainees also took part in a Campus Cleanliness Drive, helping to keep the institute surroundings clean and creating awareness about the importance of a clean environment. As part of the celebration, they also prepared a Kitchen Garden on the campus, learning how growing vegetables can support a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
The week was made successful through the active participation of the ITI trainees, instructors, and staff. These activities not only helped the trainees learn more about nature but also encouraged teamwork, creativity, and a sense of responsibility towards the environment.
Van Mahotsav Week was a meaningful and enjoyable experience for everyone. It reminded us that every small effort planting a tree, caring for plants, or keeping our surroundings clean helps build a greener and healthier future.
