VISIT OF BISHOP AGNELO PINHEIRO AND ADMINISTRATOR FR. ANDREW D’MELLO TO THE GIRLS’ PROMOTION CENTRE - OROS

On 10th August, we were blessed and privileged to welcome Bishop Agnelo Pinheiro. and the Bishop’s Administrator, Rev. Fr. Andrew D’Mello, to the Girls’ Promotion Centre. Their visit was a joyful and memorable occasion for the entire community, especially for the young women of the Community College.

The visit began with a warm and gracious welcome. Sr. Teresa Plathara, the Superior, received the distinguished guests with great joy and presented them with a beautiful bouquet of flowers as a symbol of our gratitude, respect, and heartfelt welcome.

The students of the Community College added a special touch to the occasion by singing a welcome melody. Their joyful voices filled the atmosphere with warmth and happiness, expressing their excitement and gratitude for the presence of our esteemed guests.

Bishop Agnelo Pinheiro. and Fr. Andrew D’Mello,graciously interacted with the sisters and the students. Their presence was a source of encouragement and inspiration to everyone. They took interest in the various activities and initiatives of the Girls’ Promotion Centre and appreciated the efforts made by the sisters in accompanying and empowering young women through education, skill development, and holistic formation.

The visit was not merely an official occasion but became a beautiful moment of communion, encouragement, and sharing. The presence of our shepherds reminded us of the importance of walking together, supporting one another, and continuing our mission with renewed enthusiasm and hope.
