WELCOMING NEW COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND CELEBRATING THE FEAST OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY, MOTHER OF THE CHURCH – 8TH JUNE 2025

On 8th June 2025, the community gathered in a spirit of great joy to celebrate two significant occasions: the welcoming of three new sisters into the community — Sr. Priscilla Travasso, Sr. Teresa Dharmaraj, and Sr. Benzina Vayaghar — and the Feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church.

The celebration began with a solemn prayer service led by the Superior, Sr. Josephine Fernandes, invoking the intercession of our Blessed Mother for the new members of the community. The feast of Mary, Mother of the Church, served as a powerful reminder of her maternal care and her role in nurturing a strong, faith-filled community.

On this meaningful day, the community joyfully welcomed Sr. Priscilla Travasso as Vicar, Sr. Teresa Dharmaraj as Bursar, and Sr. Benzina Vayaghar as Assistant. Their arrival was marked by a delightful program presented by the Aspirants, which included a heartfelt welcome song, a warm address, and a graceful dance performance.

This double celebration was a beautiful expression of unity, faith, and gratitude — a moment of new beginnings entrusted to the loving care of Mary, our Mother, and to the continued guidance of the Holy Spirit.
