On 21st June 2021, 7th International Yoga Day was celebrated at Auxilium Convent High School Bandra. Online Yoga sessions were conducted for the students class-wise. Students were encouraged to participate in the online Poster Competition. Accordingly, 3 best posters were awarded E- certificates. The students participated with enthusiasm and excitement, having fully understood the importance of Yoga in their lives.
On 26th June International yoga day was observed at Auxilium Lonavla. Sr. Shobha Dsouza sent a link on the school whatsapp group. Staff members attended the online programme through the link. The students were also provided with a similar link by Sr Shobha. They too attended the online programme and performed yoga exercises in their own homes and sent pictures to their respective class teachers.
On 22nd June 2021, the staff of all the sections of the school assembled in the SJTC hall to welcome the new Superior, Sisters and teachers. Each of them was introduced by the Headmistress, Sr. Sheela Furtado. The lamp was lit by them and a prayer service followed, invoking God’s blessings on the new academic year, 2021-2022.
