The feast of our teenage girl, Blessed Laura Vicuna was celebrated on 21st January at Savedi- Ahmednagar. We honored and venerated our Blessed Laura Vicuna, the patron of our house with much love in the school, boarding and Parish.
On 21st evening we began with beautiful and meaningful vigil service in which Laura’s virtues of sacrifice, love, kindness and generosity were highlighted. And this was followed by a short skit about Laura’s life enacted by our boarders. The well prepared dinner was served by our generous co operators. All enjoyed the meal together.
On 22nd the school honored Blessed Laura Vicuna with a prayer service and a short enactment on her life. In the evening, we celebrated the feast of Blessed Laura Vicuna in our Don Bosco Parish. The pretty photo –frame was prominently displayed in our parish for the Eucharist which was celebrated at 5.30 pm with great solemnity. Our Salesian cooperators animated the liturgy in a meaningful manner. Sr. Sunita Motherghar gave a good homily with the vivid power power point presentation on the life of our young saint. A snack was distributed after the Mass to all our parishioners.
