(Sr.Lavita Vaz) It was a moment of great joy for the Auxilium pre-schoolers, Pansora on 13 February 2014, when the First batch of 13 students opened the school Annual gathering day. It was declared open by 4 students who also hoisted the yellow, green, pink and blue DSC_4882Flags at 3pm. in the presence of  our Regional Councilor Sr. Ritha Thomas. The Guest of Honour was the Rector of Don Bosco Dakor, Rev. Fr. Isaac Sdb who felicitated the event.

Tr. Kailash and Sr. Sunita Shah had been preparing for this day for the past one month. The function was attended by Sisters, parents and well wishers. Also present for the celebration of the School Annual Day, was Mr. Mojes Christian, the Pastor of The Methodist Church, Pansora.

The devout school assembly prayer by the students  at the very outset of the programme, made our spirits soar heavenward. This was followed by the welcome song ‘It’s our Annual day today’ danced by the students. Each one in their attire once again welcomed the audience. With a thunderous round of applause the inaugural function continued. Sr. Lavita Vaz in her welcome speech explained to them the meaning and identity of the school name ‘Auxilium’ as helper, guide and teacher all attributed for our love and devotion to our Blessed Mother The Help of Christians. She also told them that the School stands for academic excellence, development of skills and Character formation based on the love of God and the service of humanity.

Rev. Fr. Isaac Sdb too in his appreciative  speech congratulated the attempt made by the Sisters and the Teacher to impart Education through the inspiration provided by our Founder Don Bosco and Co foundress St. Mary Mazzarello where knowledge and Integrity is the hallmark. Mr. Mojes thanked the sisters for this laudable service offered to Pansora and implored God’s blessing for a great future.

DSC_4874The short  programme through dance, song, story telling, rhymes and the Thirsty crow in action was staged by the children. We wish to extend our thanks to the students who truly did well. Their costumes gave them a bright look. They put their best foot forward and everyone was very appreciative of their performance. The parents were overwhelmed to look for themselves the performance and the growth of their children in an English Convent school from a village surrounding.

The report through the Power Point presentation was read by Sr. Seema Ghodke                    and Sr. Sunita Shah simplified it in Gujarati, to the audience. It was a memorable day for everyone. Sr. Sunita Shah delivered the vote of thanks and the master of                          ceremony Tr. Kailas, finally concluded with the National Anthem.

  1. I am truly happy that our little Pre-Primary Auxilium School at Pansora managed to stage its first Annual Day celebration on the 13th Feb. 2014 to the delight of the parents and well wishers of this new KG school. Congratulations to Sr. Lavita and the sisters and the teacher who prepared the children for this first public occasion. May God’s blessings be upon this new venture of the community of Pansora. We hope to see this little sapling grow into a fine plant with a primary section in the near future and … God-willing …later on a secondary section as well. All for the greater glory of God and for the salvation of the young.
