With India being the host of the World Environment Day for this year, our school along with ten other schools of the locality participated in a Beach Cleaning Drive organized by the Government of Goa.
It was a fantastic occasion of convincing young minds on the need to protect the environment but more especially, say NO to single-use plastic. All the students were also given a T-shirt and a cap. They then proceeded in groups of four with bags and gloves for a beach cleaning drive. The programme ended with a speech.
