(Sr. Anita Tairipascu) We at Ashish Bhavan–Kune had the Women’s Day celebration at Kunal Katakarvidhya Mandir. We began with a short prayer service conducted by Sr. Anita. Chief Guest for the day was Inspector Suwarana Adsuale. She willingly accepted the invitation and was present for the entire programme which included some songs on the dignity of women in society. She spoke to the women as well as teenage girls regarding the importance of education. She shared her own life experiences, the struggles and difficulties she had gone through to be what she is now. This was an encouragement to our women and an inspiration too. She also told them that if we work hard and put interest in what we do then it is possible to become someone in life. All were treated to a good lunch. A few enjoyable games were organized for all. The women returned home happily and enthused too.
