24th of every month is very dear to every Daughter of Mary Help of Christians. The 24th of February became a historical day in the annals of the Province of St. Mary Mazzarello, Bombay, as we received the news of the appointment of the new Provincial. Sr. Meenakshi D’Silva has been appointed at the 8th Provincial of MM Mumbai.
This morning Sr. Rita Dora Thomas, our Provincial, Sr. Rita D’Souza, the Provincial Bursar, and Sr. Supriya Noronha, the Provincial Secretary visited Auxilium Wadala to congratulate Sr. Meenakshi. A few minutes later, the neighbouring community joined to wish the newly appointed Provincial.
In the evening both the communities joined together for an adoration service which was followed by an agape meal.
As we rejoice for this great gift, we thank God for His goodness towards us and we assure of our prayers and support to our newly appointed Provincial.
