(Sr. Margaret Misquita)St. Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, under the leadership of Sr. Margaret Misquitta celebrated its first Gratitude Day on 14th March 2014, thanking the Director – Fr. Joseph Lobo and his team of priests.
What better day to choose, other than Fr. Joseph Lobo’s birthday which is on 14th March. The programme was organized at the girls hostel by our 4th year B.E students (final years) who are soon going to complete their Engineering studies here.
The celebrations began at 6.45 pm with the cutting of the cake, Songs, floral tributes, literary tribute highlighting the qualities of our Director – Fr. Joseph, and gift presentation. Sr. Margaret too thanked Fr. Joseph and the priests for their care, concern, love, appreciation and the freedom they give her in the discharge of her duties here and specially for making SJEC a heaven for her and for the girls.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks followed by the hymn ‘Thank you Lord’. Dinner with special dishes was served to the girls and a special ice-cream for all from our beloved Director.

BRAVA! Sr. Margaret! for having initiated the Salesian tradition of “Gratitude day” at SJCE-Vamanjoor. May your Salesian presence and charismatic spirit give new life to the young girls at the Hostel. Best wishes and prayers!
