St. Joseph’s celebrates Onam!

On 23rd September a grand celebration of the Onam festival was organised by the Keralite students at St Joseph Engineering College. It began in the academic block around the huge pookolam with the lighting of the lamp, prayer moment and a dance which was at 9.00 am. Salesian Regional Superior visits Aux-Caranzalem!

Fr. Maria Arokiam Kanaga SDB,the Salesian Regional Superior for South Asia visited us at Auxilium, Caranzalem on 26th September 2017. We were indeed blessed and privileged by his visit to us, sisters and the Salesian Co-operators of the Caranzalem unit. Fr. Navratri celebrations at Jag Prakash,Pansora!

On 23rd September along with the village children who belong to six diffenrt villages, we had the celebration of Navartri with the village tuitions children of six villages. They arrived with full of gusto to play the Garba. Garba is one of the popular festivals in Gujarat, where women dance to their hearts’ content. ‘Kishori mela’ at Pushpanjali,Dakor!

On Friday, the 8th of September, Pushpanjali, Dakor Friday celebrated the Girl Child day. Nearly 340 adolescent girls from 10 villages participated in this ‘Kishori mela’.  Sr. Sunita Shah brought 30 girls from Pansora.
