The General Councillor Sr. Lucy Rose, provincials of all the seven Indian provinces and delegates of the provinces were welcomed felicitated and entertained on 29th August as they were in Lonavla for the PCI meeting.
The students of Auxilium Convent High School, along with Headmistress, Sr. Sheela Furtado and the staff members had long been preparing to greet these sisters who had assembled at ACHS basement for the solemn inauguration of the PCI meet.
In keeping with our Maharashtrian culture, the sisters were welcomed with the dhol tasha and aarti. The Provincial of Mumbai Province, Sr. Rita Dora Thomas welcomed Sr. Lucy Rose and the provincials and delegates. A variety of cultural, patriotic and environment based items were staged by the students. Every item of the programme had a beautiful message to give.
The sisters were felicitated with the traditional coconut, shawl and flowers. The councillors, Sr. Lucy Rose addressed the audience. All the sisters greatly appreciated the entire programme, a fitting way to begin their PCI meeting.
