We had the joy of organizing the 27th Annual Day at Kune on the 21st February 2019. The theme was: Health, Unity, and Holiness.
The Chief Guest for the day was Sr. Magdaline Sequeira, the Vice Provincial of the MM Mumbai Province. The programme began at 4.00 pm with a prayer dance and the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Fr. Matthew from Pune, the parents of the boarders, and the other village people were present for the event. One could see the joy on the faces of the parents as their children performed on the stage. The dances and the skit centred on the theme.
Sr.Magdaline in her speech encouraged those gathered to live in unity so that in unity we can fight against all evil. Health is God’s gift to us and we need to take good care of our health and not get into addiction because it damages our health. The event was organized by Sr. Vanita Christi, Sr. Mary Anthony under the guidance of Sr. Teresa Dharmaraj, the animator of the community. In the end, snacks were served to all.
