On Sunday 17th February four Past Pupils from the core group along with Sr. Kalyani Subramaniam went to Uttan for an outreach programme in our convent. They left in the morning at 8.45am and returned back in the evening at 7 pm. They were excited to meet the 30 children and spend their precious time with them. Upon reaching there, breakfast was served for all of us. Later around 11 pm they began with creative games and dance sessions. All enjoyed to the full. Around 12.30pm they gathered the children and the community Sisters. Having thanked them for inviting them, they distributed many items to them such as toiletries and stationery items. The afternoon sumptuous lunch and ice-cream were sponsored by the Past Pupils core team members. The children enjoyed a delicious meal.
The members then went to Uttan Bhatia to spend some time in the shrine of Our Lady praying the Divine Mercy and the Holy Rosary. They then returned home with a sense of joy and fulfillment having brought a smile on the faces of the poor.
