AMAR # 1751 - A season 2 celebrate. @ International Wadala

The season of Christmas brings in the hope and warmth of the festival much in advance of the Christmas Eve. We at AIPS wished that our learners know significance of this very festival and are able to spread happiness through their innocent and generous hearts. And so on 21st December 2022 we celebrated Christmas at AIPS, the day began with all the learners coming dressed in their fancy party outfits, as they settled in their classrooms we gave them dazzling Reindeer hair bands that they flaunted with much excitement. Then a special prayer moment was led by Sr. Sandra where we prayed for the intentions of all. This was followed by the Christmas skit where learners had come dressed in the Christmas characters. As Ms. Abigail sung Christmas carols the skit began. The Star came in to the tune of Silent Night, then the angels, Joseph and Mary with baby Jesus to the music of Angels we have heard on high. Then marched the 3 kings to We three kings, followed by the Shepherds and the cattle. Soon after came the drummer boy. As the Christmas scenario was ready all joined in to sing Joy to the world. Sr. Gloria Ferrao then explained the Christmas story to the learners and gave the message that whenever we share and help someone it spreads the joy of Christmas. The learners then sang the Christmas carol, Ruldolph the Red Nose Reindeer. It was then time for a short break after which each grade did a different art activity as a take away. We all then gathered on the outdoor play area where we danced and sang Christmas carols enjoying the company of our loved friends and facilitators. The day came to an end with smiley faces and hearts filled with the joy and love of Christmas as the facilitators wished them a happy holiday season full of togetherness with their families.
