On 11th October we were privileged to have Sr. Jaya Pedthala who conducted a session on Saving the Environment to the inmates of the hostel. Through different videos, she brought home the current issues of the world. She asked the girls for some concrete and practical suggestions wherein they could do their part.
Greta Thunberg, who Rips World Leaders at the U.N. Over Climate Change, through this session she exhorted the youngsters to do something for Mother Earth. As a response, a few sketches on the theme “Water” were displayed for all to see. Sr. Philomena D’Souza, the animator gifted the hostelites a few dustbins where they could segregate the waste.
Indeed a step towards a greener world…
