AMAR # 1120 4th Annual Anmol Dhamaka 2020!

On 5th January 2020, the Anmol Dhamaka attracted around 800 children from 20 different NGO’s to the Belagavi City.  The children were accompanied by their teachers. They arrived at Hindalco Industries with a well-arranged bus service which was sponsored by Mr. Saji Kutti, Kids Paradise School, KLE Ayurvedic Hospital and Hindalco Company.   All were extended warm hospitality with a delicious breakfast. The children were directed to the pandal to play the games which were arranged by Mrs. Gauri Gajbar and the team. Each child played 3 games and every child won 3 prizes.

The children of different categories blind, deaf and dumb, mentally challenged, street children, and government school children all formed part of the programme. The Chief Guest and Guest of Honour were welcomed with the Anmol band. The inauguration began with a lighting of the lamp followed by the prayer dance performed by Auxilium School Children, Nandgad. The Anmol Tangudhama children welcomed everyone with their melodies welcome song with smiling face. The Chief Guest for the event was Rev. Sr. Ritha Dora Thomas, the Provincial of  M.M. Mumbai, Guest of Honour  Mr. Krishnaraju Kumarvel  (The Unit head of Hindalco Industries), Mr. Vishwas Shinde (Hindalco Industries HR Head), Shri Basavaraj Varavatti (Director of Women and Child Development Department) Sr. Rita Fernandes (Superior of Auxilium Convent Nandgad), Sr. Elphina Rodrigues the (Resource Person) and Sr. Hilda Mascarenhas, the Coordinator of Anmol Tangudhama were invited to the dais. Sr. Rita Fernandes welcomed all with a welcome speech and with a potted plant.

The Annual Report of Anmol Tangudhama 2019-20 was presented by Sr. Smitha Monis. The Chief Guest Rev. Sr. Ritha Dora Thomas in her speech appreciated the managing committee and the volunteers for all the arrangements and spoke to the children on the theme, “Child is a bud, allow it to bloom”.  The best student of the year from each institute was felicitated and was offered a medal and the frame of appreciation. 

Sr. Hilda Mascarenhas thanked the Chief Guest, Guest of honour, Committee Members, Volunteers, Donors, Sisters and all those who have helped one way or the other to make Anmol Dhamaka 2020 successful.

After the inauguration function Sr. Elphina Rodrigues, the Resource Person took the Session on the Theme “Child is a bud. Allow it to bloom”. She began the session with the action song showed some motivational videos like Buddha and Poor boy, and explained to the children the three Powers the mind heart and soul will change one’s life and she explained to them how they have to overcome the difficulties of life.

Then all broke for lunch. A sumptuous meal was served to everyone.

In the afternoon the children from each institute performed a cultural programme. It was an awesome moment to enjoy the children’s’ talent. As they were returning back, each child received in their hand a bag filled with sweets, fruits keychain, and a steel tiffin box.
