On the occasion of the feast of our Father and founder St. John Bosco, we had the Sports Day at Maria Vihar. In the morning the VTC students had short prayer and were shown a short film on Don Bosco’s life and then different games were organised. In the afternoon the boarders had a sports day where the sports meet was declared opened with Sr. Philomena D’Souza handing over the torch to Jestina Bandea the university cricket and kabaddi champion player from the hotel and it was carried by the four group leaders. Different sports games were organised It was nice to see every participating with much enthusiasm. The ended with honouring Don Bosco after the solemn mass with Don Bosco academy where hostel and boarding girls together danced on DB song.
