AMAR # 1145 “Museum on wheels” at Auxilium Baroda!

On 4th February 2020, the students of Auxilium Convent High School were privileged to visit the ‘Museum on wheels’ which was organized in our school premises by ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya- Mumbai (A Citi- CSMVS).

Through this exhibition, the students came to know about the unique aspects of living fossils that have remained unchanged over the course of millions of years. The bones of the ‘Rajasaurus’, ‘a baby Mammoth’ well preserved in the Arctic tundra for 37,000 years. We also saw the models or replicas of insects, reptiles and volcano.

The interactive sessions, audio-video, and digital media provided information and insights and imparted to us useful knowledge about the world’s oldest fossils and have created love and appreciation of the heritage and culture of the society. We thank the organizing team of CSMVS.
