AMAR # 1150 3 occasions at Auxilium Ahmednagar!

The feast of Don Bosco – A loving Father, completer saint, faithful friend, and an excellent teacher were celebrated with much love and deep fervour in Auxilium Ahmednagar on 31 January 2020. The day was packed with activities. The morning programme began with a prayer moment followed by a short skit depicting the life of St. John Bosco. A song dedicated to our loving saint was melodiously sung by the young and vibrant Auxilians chorusing in one voice ‘Viva Don Bosco, Long live Don Bosco’. Sr. Antonette Rebello then spoke to the gathering about ‘Holiness for you too’, emphasizing the importance of living holy lives in today’s digital world.

The next and the most awaited event was the inter-house dance competition wherein each house did it’s best giving a tough time to all the judges.

The other most awaited event that followed was the Farewell ceremony of class X and XII students. The Auxilium family bid adieu to them, wishing them luck and success for their board exams and all their future endeavours. Sr. Latha Arogyaswamy, the Headmistress elaborated on the theme of the day “Life is a journey  – not a destination” and gave them her parting message, encouraging them to always strive to be a visionary, a dreamer and a seeker like our Father and Founder St. John Bosco.
