On 27th February 2020, the students of Mazzarello Kendra were all geared up with test tubes and chemicals, wires, and bulbs, colour and smiles as they celebrated Science Day, in honour of the renowned Indian scientist C.V. Raman. The day began with a meaningful prayer service followed by a short introduction on the Science Day.
The students of Std. VIII then performed some short demonstrations on science concepts like friction, atmospheric pressure, and natural indicators, with the aim of bringing about some love for science in young minds. This was followed by the display of various science models prepared by the students of the High school, with much interest. The parents of the students could view the models and take delight in watching their wards use their theory in practice. The likes of C.V. Raman could be born at any time with a little motivation or with none.
May these young budding scientists value the world of science with all its variety and scope and learn to use it for the good of humanity.
