On 20th February 2020, a training programme was conducted for all the staff members of K.G, Primary and Secondary sections my Mrs. Rashmi Chainani, Principal of Akanksha School and Mrs. Sheetal Murudkar director of schools in Akanksha foundation from NGO Akanksha, Mumbai circle time for students was the topic of the training programme. There was a very lively input session where the resource persons explained with a ppt the concept of circle time and the methods involved. The sessions were interactive.
The second part of the training involved a session where teachers themselves had the experience of sharing in circle time. Strategies were discussed and plans were thought of. We hope to implement this circle time in our classes with all our students. The staff is grateful to the headmistress, Sr. Sheela Furtado for arranging the programme.
