Christ has called me to greater holiness and service. God walks with me every step of the way and I will follow Him forever.
On 24th May 2020, at Auxilium Centre, Bandra together with the Sisters of Auxilium Pali Hill we celebrated with joy the feasts of Ascension, Mary Help of Christians, Renewal of four temporary Professed Sisters, Birthday of Sr. Phyllis Neves, the Visiting Councillor and also the world day of communication. The celebration began with Morning Prayer then later at 11:30 am we had a solemn Eucharist celebration celebrated by Fr. Joby Matthew SSP, who meaningfully broke the Word of God for us and encouraged us to proclaim Christ to the whole world through our goodness and Jesus’ values. We thank him for his prayerful support that he assured us as we began another new year in the Religious life.
After the sermon the four Temporary Professed Sisters Sr. Sanjina Mothegar, Sr. Veronica Fernandes, Sr. Breenel Sambrea and Sr. Akshitha Lobo renewed their vows and surrendered themselves to Christ by singing the theme song “I’m set apart for you Lord, for you, I’m set apart.” After the Eucharist celebration, all the sisters congratulated the temporary professed sisters and wished birthday wishes to Sr. Phyllis Neves by singing songs. The celebration ended with delicious food and laughter and fun. It was really a memorable day for all of us who renewed our vows and those who made their Professions on this day.
