Nearly after 4 months the neighbours of Auxilium Bandra could hear laughter, music and chatter of nearly 30 Sisters. It was indeed a joy to be in each other’s company. The reason for the gathering was to bid farewell to Sr. Phyllis Neves.
Sr. Moksha Anthonappa animated a meaningful prayer service, thanking God for the gracious and animating presence of Sr. Phyllis in our Province. The Sisters of Auxilium Wadala asked all of us gathered to bless Sr. Neves through a melodious song. “Be Sisters in the real sense especially in your community, take care of the poor entrusted to you.” With this farewell message of Sr. Phyllis, we joined in the sumptuous dinner prepared by the Sisters of the four communities.
With heartfelt thanks and in our Indian way of greeting, we bade goodbye to Sr. Phyllis and assured her of our prayers.
