On the auspicious occasion of the 74th anniversary of our Country’s Independence, we joined together with the legendary poet Rabindranath Tagore and prayed “Into thy heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.” Sr. Rita Lobo, the Manager of Auxilium Convent High School and Junior College did the honours of hoisting our National flag.
While very few could be present due to the existing circumstances, an online prayer service was animated for all the students of the school through Google meet. During the prayer moments, we prayed that we may be delivered from the forces of evil that stand in the way of progress. And that unity and peace may reign in the hearts of all our fellow citizens.
