It has been great celebration of the feast of Blessed Maria Troncatti at Auxilium Vikas Kendra- Khedpa, since she is a patron of our house. We celebrated the feast on 27th August with the neighbouring priest and religious communities. Fr. Akash Nakre the newly ordained second priest of our Parish was the main celebrant. He preached about Blessed Maria Troncatti her mission and connected the same with our apostolate. Being a native of this parish he said that our mission here is a challenging.
After the Eucharist we gathered for the festive meal in the refectory the parish priest of Chisda. Fr. Francis Fernandes prayed the grace before the meals and intoned the blessing song in Konkani. Sr. Catherine Pereira, the animator welcomed the guests and thanked them for their support in all ways. We congratulated Fr. Akash Nakre and honoured him with a shawl and a gift.
We ended our celebration with recreation and sharing of our views and news during the Covid 19. We are indeed grateful to all those who participated in our celebration and we thank God for the gift of Blessed Maria Troncatti to each of us.
