Laura Vicuna Unit, Ahmednagar had their monthly meeting on 16 May 2021. It began with a short prayer conducted by Mr. Kadam. This was followed by the reading and an explanation of the PAL article. Later Fr. James Tuscano SDB gave a talk on theme ‘Like Mary reaching out to needy’. Mr. Luis Shelke informed about “Mission Adhar”. This is a mission which helps the helpless during this pandemic. It helps the migrants, those living in the streets, the poor and the helpless.
The members work to reach out to these individuals and provide support in their time of need. A few members of the Unit helped in providing grocery kits where in other members were engage in providing other medical help like; helping to get beds for the sick patients, giving voluntary help in Covid Centres, and providing the medicines. Sr. Nilima Rodrigues thanked the members for their generosity and availability.
