Refilling our Jars with the gifts of the Holy Spirit
On 20th June 2021, we gathered as one community, we began the beautiful evening in the presence of God, invoking His blessings on each of us at the commencement of a new scholastic year; reflecting on the six empty jars and refilling them with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Sr. Thelma Barrett and Sr. Jaya Rodrigues were privileged to welcome the new comers to the community: Sr. Magaret Misquitta, Sr. Sunanda Solanki, Sr. Sunita Shah & Sr. Teresa Joseph.
The six of us gathered in front of the chapel with our empty jars; symbol of our emptiness and readiness of our heart to start anew. During our prayer moment, our animator poured water into each of our jars imploring Jesus to turn our water into good wine as we pledged our willingness to journey together accompanying each other to grow in Salesian Sanctity, being expression of God’s love among the young.
The prayer moment was followed by a delicious dinner prepared and enjoyed by the whole community.
