On 29th June 2021, the community of SHTC Nashik celebrated Pope’s day. The day began with the well animated psalms and introductions, followed by the great banquet of love i.e. Eucharistic celebration and the festal song, sending our wishes and blessings to our dear beloved Pope Francis.
To mark the day, the novices organized a programme that contained a dance, song and the meaningful skit on the relationship of our founder St. John Bosco and Pope Pius IX and predicting his papal ministry for long years and thus he was the longest reigning Pope in the history for 32 years.
The devotion given by St. John Bosco towards the Pope is still carried out with much fervour and enthusiasm. In order to know the history of the Church, the sisters animated quiz and thus inculcated in us the knowledge of the Church and its leaders. In gratitude we thanked God for our dear Pope Francis and prayed for his good health and the strength to lead the Church to the eternal kingdom of Christ.
